LOL Small amounts can vary. There are round-ups from everything you spend. Then you can choose to save some money in Acorns Later Account, which is an IRA.

here's the thing: spare change jars and compound interest is both well loved and considered wise and good habits, but combining and automating them is laughable and stupid?

Automatic Millionaire and Start late, retire rich both advocate for using platform like Acorn

right off the start i disagreed, this video is misinforming. Acorns allows you to invest your spare change as an option, but you can invest as much as thousands a month into 4 different etfs which is real investing

He doesn’t know about acorns. You can invest the amount you want and make recurring payments. Not just Pennies. If you want to invest 2000 or more a year you can

What I fine super sad is she is trying to get his opinion and he basically call her a clown. Instead of being “ in my opinion you should do this or that” but the way he goin about it. Making fun of people that are trying to get better at life. Gross 🤮 But I understand if you wanna make a lot of money you have to invest a lot but the truth of the matter a coffee cup don’t give you anything back. 😊

Dave has said that the psychology behind personal finance is something people neglect. He stands behind paying off smaller loans with higher interest rates just for the accomplishment feeling. Well Dave this is no different. Investing your rounded-off cents is a great way to dip your toe to start investing

I started with Acorns with about $50 10 years ago. I have over 125k in it today. As I grew older and earned more money over the years, I started putting a little more into the roundups (at 3x the roundups now), and more towards weekly deposits.

More lousy advice from D.R. Acorns is much more than roundups. And they have a Roth IRA.

When it comes to saving money and getting out of debt, Dave is the man…when it comes to investing, gold, crypto….I seek advise elsewhere. Not saying he's wrong, but sometimes he sounds a little outdated…and bitter.

Wow the audacity…. Acron is what you call bottom investing. For some people thats all they can afford or works with their budget until they can get the big money going. Sure the more you the further you'll be better off but again not one size fits all.

What Ramsey doesn't get is that most of us don't have a lot of money, 401k or IRA, If you are a beginner than Acorn is a good way to start, and it is better than nothing. I spent two hours this morning trying to sign up for a brokerage and it was a nightmare, and I still never got it done. I will stick with self-investment / no commission apps. Not everyone is trying to be a millionaire Ramsey.

There's no limit to the amount you can invest in Acorns. It's not just about rounding.
