What was that clear sheet you laid on top of the stickers and ran it through before you cut it? I’m assuming it was laminating it but I’ve never seen laminating that didn’t have the two sheets you put the design between to enclose it.
I got a Silhouette 4 and a Cricut Maker off of facebook marketplace for SUPER cheap; the seller was a gem and said it was totally fine to facetime them if I had any questions with software.
But as a newbie— yeah the Silhouette software is WAY more intuitive to use. I configured it with masking tape so I don't need registration marks (GAME CHANGER) and I can get SO MANY STICKERS out of one sheet. Absolute win for a beginner that is nickel-and-diming startup costs.
I LOVE the idea of using a colorful shipping label to seal the boxes! So smart!! I have a Dymo 4XL for shipping labels and a Munbyn thermal printer I use for packaging stickers. (This way I'm not swapping out the labels constantly since I print shipping labels daily but packaging as needed usually like 50-100 at a time.) Anyway, I hate fighting with packaging tape and love the colorful seal you have. I actually have a few rolls of pink shipping labels that for some reason the thermal printing fails on, so now I know how I'm going to use them up. Even if they don't have printed text as cute as yours at least they aren't just trash now and add that pop of color!

Can you tell me more about what it is you put on top of your stickers to laminate them/make them glossy? I saw laminating pouches in your Amazon link, but wasn't sure how you used them…
Paper looks ok if thats from ali ibaba id say its positive as looks nice.

Hi Sarah, First I wanted to thank you for making these videos. It helps a lot for those who want to start their own small business'! I would love to start my own business from home. I am interested in designing my own logo and stickers for packaging I think that is one big part of starting the business which is a little intimidating. I can't work due to health reasons. I have some questions that I can think of right now, would I have to go out and buy an expensive iPad to draw my own logo? Can I use anything else? I have contacted Vista Print in the past they have asked for my designs but I have no clue where to make my own designs. I noticed that you can design it an immediately print it out at home which is what I want to do as well. Thank you again and I hope to hear back from you.
This may be good for someone with the money for all this . but I just wasted !y time bc I thought she was going to show us how to make packaging for free or how to make it online then print it without needing a special sticker printer I'm not trying to make a hate comment but I did kind of get my hopes up for nothing. I'm sorry if this sounds rude which I don't intend it to but in your upcoming videos could you state what your going over in a bit of depth at the beginning? I can't control you or your videos and I am definitely in NO place to say I'm a better poster or seller than you I just personally enjoy clarity and depth (if any of this seemed rude,mean, or anything of the sort im sorry)
hav u tried getting them from china, its actually cheaper and more time effective than buying the equipment, materials and design it yourself , print and cut it. its soooo much cheaper buying them from Asian side tbh
Hello love the packaging but how much waste gets produced
I really hate the cricut software trying to sell you crap. I've got muscle memory by now to click where I need to when it's asking me for bullshit. On the PC it seems they're a bit more chill than on the ipad, maybe… maybe it's cause the PC screen is bigger so the advertising feels less there than on a smaller screen.
Also from Silhouette you use the same software for bigger cutter-plotter machines, so the move seems smart.

I absolutely adore Sticker Mule for a lot of custom packing and stickers. They're super cool and customer service is awesome. I used them a lot for a company I used to work for and depending on my order volume I'm probably gonna switch to them for my own business.
