I started with $5k just last week and now I've hit $17,590. I was having this exact conversation with my son the other night generational wealth isn't just about getting money. It's about teaching everyone not only how to make it, but also how to maintain it. It does no good for me to provide for my family if they dont understand how to manage and sustain it. That's why I really love this video.
i’d love to call one day ! i want to learn more. i want to start a 401k i just don’t know how too.
I've been doing my own research as I'm getting out of debt so I can be ready to put money in my husband's retirement.
I don't like my husband's match. And I studied a relatives retirement paperwork she got from her job, looked at the reviews of Voya Financial among others just to see and people are having a very to impossible time getting their money out, rolling it over, and sometimes it's all gone without them withdrawing it.
I need to invest in retirement and I want to but how do I know that the business isn't going to mess me over?
This made the topic much clearer. Nicely put together.
Very refreshing to hear someone who has all their finances readily available, defined question, and quick to the point.
though I was the driver of the year, they go by seniority. I was so embarrassed to tell my family, now I'm studding several hours per day (7days p/ week) and starting to be profitable, however not consistent. Some days I lose $50, and yesterday I made $2300, most days I make between $200-$300. My goal is to never have to work for anyone again.
How can talk to Dave
In1999 a Major, US Army, Apache pilot I knew got hired at Dell. Among his coworkers were a 26 year old couple. They told him they projected "retiring" within 1 year due to their plans to start a family, AND the fact that their 5 year mark would coincide with their Dell stock options exceeding $5m EACH.
So is he saying Roth over traditional ?
Did she say she’s 21 or 31 lol I’m tryna see if ima be a millionaire too 😭
That's true? I Don't know…
Would it be better to use the money that WOULD go into the Roth to, instead, pay taxes for Roth conversions?
Looking for some help. I just hit baby step 4. My income is about $120,000 so 15% would be around $18,000. My company offers a Roth 401k option with a 6% match. Since the 2026 contribution limit is $24,500 should I contribute my full 15% into the Roth 401k or do I need to open a Roth IRA account?
How i wish if i only could understand this finance language, roth, match, … 🫣
How is 3% match from $15,000 is $1200? That one confused me. 3% from 15000 is 450. What am I missing here?
The fact he’s pushing mutual funds over index fund should tell you everything you need to know. Don’t listen to this dude about 457s v 403s and index funds v mutual funds.
You don't need a smart investor pro. They charge one percent
Ehh, "millionaire!!!" isn't what it used to be. We don't know how much she has invested now or if she said I didn't hear but considering she will be 33 by that time and they will be adding about $1350 a month they'll have 1.8 million at 65 assuming no raises. That's only 75k a year before taxes in retirement. Need to save even more… it's a lot tougher than it used to be.
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
There are only 4 Stock Tickers we need to know so we can invest ourselves. Keep them a secret so you can make money off broke people. Also, I took the FPU "course". 100% common sense. And you get "Christians" to do it for free then pocket the money. Scam ass shit. Good for you DR. Good for you. I'm just not smart enough to make money on stupid people like you do but aware enough to see through the BS. Modern day evangelist praying on the weak or unfortunate. I hope this message finds you well….
Question
Im retired. Is there a vehicle i can use to invest $12k to $18k after tax money into a tax free account using REITs., BDCs or MLPs…
Any help please..
I started investing because I liked the extra money from stock dividends. The key, in my opinion, is to make enough money through both investing and dividends, so you can live off the dividends without selling anything. This way, you might pass on this financial advantage to your kids. I've put more than $600K into dividend stocks over the years, and I'm still buying more, planning to keep going until prices drop more.
Honestly, with the way inflation’s eating up salaries in 2025, I used to think setting aside 15% of my income was pointless. But I forced myself to stay consistent. By year two, I had over $220K spread across structured real estate and dividend-heavy stocks. The secret? Not doing it alone.
Isn't there a limit that the Government lets you put in a Roth IRA?I don't understand how they can tell and individual what they can do with their own money.
What abt as a teen
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
the right way is to ignore all Dave Ramsey advice on investing and find someone else. He is great for debtaholics, but bad for investment advice for the financially sound.
Markets don’t stay down for long. When fear peaks and bad news dominates, that’s often the moment the market starts to recover. Some investors have already made big money—up to $150,000—during this slump. So, which stocks are worth a closer look now?
I thought the Combined contribution was $7000, he's telling them they can contribute to multiple IRAs up to $15,000?
I am the diarreahing man!
Love a good investing video!! The secret to building wealth is time in the market not timing the market. You dont have to be an expert to start. Just get invested and you can always course correct if you find tweaks that suit you better.
Is it 15% of your gross income or 15% of the net after taxes?
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money.
I currently work for the largest fuel hauling company in the US and they don't believe in raises not even cost of living raises, so no George you don't always have to be really bad at your job to never get a raise. For the record i am currently talking to some other carriers about driving for them because of this specifically.
Do you invest the 15% of your monthly income or after all bills and taxes out, then invest the 15%
Makes you realise how bad the UK options currently are.
Hate to say it, but EVERYBODY’s going to be a millionaire with inflation, and then how much will people need to have saved for retirement? A billion?
I will forever be indebted to you Ms. Lucca Marie. You changed my whole life, I will continue to preach your name for the world to hear. You saved me from huge financial debt with the little I had. Thank you Ms. Luca Marie.
Is the employee match included in the 15% or is that on top of it?
All scam course pushers will be deported
Hearing what he said about her being a millionaire eventually gives me alot of hope. Coming up on 30 with 4k in tsp and just upped to 1k investments/22% of salary not including housing allowance. Averaging 700-1500 cash savings as well depending on quarterly bills and unexpected expenses. Put most of that in hysa and little in s&p 500. With a promotion in hopefully 3-4 years that 22% will be close to 1300. Will have around 6-7 years left to serve then
Having a good and smooth investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament
SLC woot woot
I just sold my pizzeria and was wondering how much I should put into my investment account. How long would it take to build a 7 figure portfolio. Should I start with 30k, 50k or do I need more ?
The best way to invest 15% of your income is to invest 25% of your income 😎
I'm a mechanic for Toyota and i work off a flat rate system, so my take home pay jumps around a lot. I basically budget as if i only flag 60hours a pay period, and adjust once i find out how much my paycheck actually is. Can anyone with a similar pay structure give me some insight on what 15% of take home pay investment looks like when it's so eratic? Thanks.
Despite the crash, I Hit 12k today trading. Started last month 2025. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject. thanks to Louise O'Brien for helping me achieve this.
Thank you for featuring Coach Richard Luerra in one of your videos. I took your advice and contacted him for investment opportunities, and the results have been incredible. Started with slightly less than $40k, and now I’ve paid off my $529k 15 years loan in 8 months. Now totally debt free with 2 paid off rentals. Love having no debt for the last 5 months. Thank you Coach Richard Luerra!
I am in a union and am given a retirement contribution whether or not I contribute. So there is not matching, technically. So is Roth better or do I treat the free money as if it's match. Personally I want to do roth and forget about the union retirement until I actually retire and just be surprised at how much is in there
