Opened an account with bamboo, was asked for my bank statement to activate my dollar account and since then, I started getting spam bank statements purportedly from my bank, sent to my e-mail. Also bought Zenith bank shares with bamboo at ₦50. Later sold the shares when it was around ₦65.25. Should have made a profit right? But bamboo not only removed their commission when the shares were sold, but also deducted my own money to the point that, the amount remitted into my account after the sale, was close to ₦3,000 less than the money I paid to buy the shares in the first place. Simply put, I had a loss on shares that I should have made profit. I'm done buying shares through bamboo. Never again!

I just read the reviews on each of the app in particular Bamboo and cowrywise and most reviews on withdrawal from the app is difficult. Saving is easy but withdrawal is very difficult in the app. Why? A new subscriber.
