As a black woman I am not sure I completely agree. Wait I have reasons 1. Where is the real strategy 2. What will REPALCE the empty nail salons 3. Are we opening more ? If not this might look like a temporary temper tantrum. There has to be a plan in place of the possibility of nail salon returning with higher prices and worse attitudes towards black women might be a future problem.

Just because a few are good to us doesn't mean we do not 🚫 boycott to chestise the rest. I'm still shopping 🛍️ with my own people. Our ancestors still had to march for civil rights regardless of a few we love 💕
We need to shift our priorities. We are too focused on carnality. We are so much more than hair, nails and body parts. And we get amnesia too soon. We need to boycott indefinitely. They’ll have to return to their countries or find other means of making business. We are back in Target. 🤦🏽♀️

I remember that incident it was a black Roman that said call the police. Hate to say it but they have no self dignity and the mail salon is still open because of them. I live in Chicago and it’s so sad. It’s not the younger ones it’s the 30 and over you know those with the college degrees. Smh

Does the Asian store boycott by African Americans include teenagers with weapons, shoplifters, and people making a scene and trashing the place? If so, maybe we should extend the boycott to Wamart, fast food restaurants and track meets.

As an Asian American if were keeping score 60 % of violent crimes against blacks are from blacks remaining 39 percent distributed among white , hispanic….. and less that 1% thats .38% to be exact are from asians.. while 27 % of violent crimes against Asians are commited by blacks. Yet we dont have any anti sentiment against anyone we just keep it moving! Let that sink in

There are some amazing small businesses that make press on nails and there are some glues out there that are way better than the ones that they use at the nail shop that’s safe for your nail beds. We can adapt.
