Robinhood is stealing money from my father-in-law. He is 85 years old. They refuse to release the funds because he cannot proof where the money came from. The proof was given, but they still refuse to release $25k. They deactivated the account.
Their email reply is
"After careful review, we were unable to confirm sufficient evidence to verify the source of the remaining funds in your Robinhood account.
As a result, the funds will stay in your account for now and may be subject to the escheatment process in accordance with the applicable laws of your state or territory. We understand this may be disappointing and encourage you to follow up if you have any additional documentation we can review."
Stay away from Robinhood.

Although I like robin hood for trading, the banking app is driving me nuts. They are trying to be cute with their menu setup but it is not really straightforward. For example, I cant see on one page all my current transactions, total amount, closing date and due date. I have to hunt around and click different things just to see those items.
