I think everyone can agree that far and away the most commonly held conspiracy theory, is that "they" will never come up with a cure for cancer, because "they" make so much money on the treatments. But I reject that notion with one question: What if the "they" that develops the cure, isn't the "they" administering the treatments? The whole theory falls apart to basic Capitalism. People will cure diseases because cures will be worth a lot of money, and how that money compares to the treatments means nothing to a prior non-competitor to the treatments.
I am new to understanding you and your positions. I am liking what I am hearing. I will continue to follow and research your positions. Thank you for sharing your intelligent brain with the world.
I stopped reading the text "Big Ideas" at page 14. Who designed the graphics had very little ideas. I checked it with: Chat Gpt, Perplexity, and an expert in Economics, ex professor of myself. Do a better job. You are trying to sell something. Well, God is in the details. Do it right. You, Cathy, explain all these thing with absolute clarity, even the harder ones. The graphics in the text use more space in disclaimers than in explaining the incomprehensibility of its designs. Check it. Or ignore it. Your choice.

You are Brilliant by any measure! I will disagree with you on the point that it is a win/win for everyone. No… The legions of unemployed people due to this unavoidable event may not recover. The issue is not a simple job elimination and creation model – factors such as IQ, desire, geographic location, ethnicity, and values, among others, must be taken into account. If you un-employ 80% of the coders today, most will never replace the quality of income they are losing. They are also unlikely to become wielders – that industry will be severely affected by robotics and AI. At the strategic level, our economic model may not be effective in this world. Even the current model of corporations may undergo significant changes in the coming decades. Your investment advice is superb, but the soft nebulas Chain of Impact conclusions are weak at best and blissfully hopeful at worst.
