when you said if you sell a T bond you could lose some money…. it depends on the price you sell them for… you should tell folks that when you sell a bond you could also make more money, depends on what the bond is selling for at the time… and many people don't understand that as a bond get more mature the value begins to drive towards PAR value… and if you bought the bonds below PAR then you will make the 5% coupon and the value at or above PAR… I have never lost money on a bond… and of course you can get some very nice corporate bonds that pay 10% too… or mix it up with T bonds…

you can buy 1,320 30yr T bonds.. they have 5% coupons…. so those bonds will pay you $5,500.00 every single month for the rest of your life.. and no you don't have to keep them until they mature… you can sell or buy 1 bond any time you want…. yes, the 5% coupon can't go down and guess what… they are state tax exempt… NO State Taxes like a CD does

    THANK YOU "Mr.B"!!
Life has changed recently & suddenly the opportunity to buy a house & establish generational wealth is before me ~ These low risk short term investments will set a firm financial foundation to build upon and gradually enable me to consider options with possible greater returns even w/the higher risk… any losses offsetting tax liability – – slow & steady, balanced & safe 😉 – – Just about ready for "takeoff" with either Schwab, Vanguard or Fidelity… Again, THANK YOU SIR!!

Okay how about explaining basically how much you put in and how much you get out. Are they made for the rich people? Let's say all you have is $1,000 and want to try your hand at stocks or bonds And you don't want to lose all your money because you listen somebody telling you that this is what you need and what kind of risk there is not. It's like finelo they say I bet you $100 you would be thanking me by the end of March. Take $20 and download this app. What they failed to tell you is you're not using that $20 to invest or anything You're paying them to use that app which means you're not making nothing You're losing yet another $20.

Great information. Stay educated on financial options, diversify assets, and pay down debt as soon as you can. Definitely stay nimble so as not to miss opportunities to shift assets when returns change.

3:33 – We are also lending money to the government when we pay payroll taxes. But you get ZERO interest with this loan. They just give you back that excess money you loaned them at the end of the year and call it a "tax refund". They should say, "Thanks, sucker. Here's some of your own money back without interest. Now go spend it on something else we can tax."
End the IRS. Gimme back my money!

When a High Yield Savings Account is = to treasury bonds, or CD, then it makes absolutely 0 sense in the entire world to choose one of those over the High Yield Savings Account.

Thanks for the helpful information! One other to consider is JAAA which has a 30-day yield over 5% and has had relatively low volatility. Every little bit of extra return makes a big difference if invested for several years.

Honestly, 2025’s inflation made me rethink keeping money in a savings account. The “safe” route is just losing value every month now.

Several years ago we parked some of our money in I-Bonds and are keeping them in place as part of our long term emergency fund. I try to add some each year by receiving any tax refund (when I don’t owe money) as I-Bonds instead of a check.

This gentleman is 100% correct. I am 50 years old and have used most of these investment ideas. They work. Anyone can do this! I love how straight to the point this video is. I wish someone told me this when I was younger. Most of this I learned in my 30s and 40s. Better to start using these strategies when you are young for compounding growth..

Been on ibonds and tbills for years now. They are a great tool to keep liquid funds in as well as getting protection from inflation. If you structure properly, they are just as good as bank accounts and offer a better rate. Will take a bit of work to maintain the structure and it's also worth mentioning that although your $ is locked up in ibonds for 1 year, you will still have a 3 month penalty applied if you withdraw before 5 YEARS.

Money can stabilize in these low risk options but can’t grow unless you invest in stocks,ETF,or mutual funds. The dollar is losing buying power and inflation continues to erode your cash holdings
