Recently, I’ve been making a greater effort to keep my online shopping spending in check, which has led me back to browsing deal sites. I’d forgotten how much money you can save by taking a few extra minutes to look for discounts. Valuecom has been especially helpful, helping me uncover deals I likely would have missed otherwise. There’s something rewarding about paying less for items I was already planning to purchase. While the savings may seem small at first, they can really add up over time. It’s become an easy habit that helps me shop smarter and stay on budget. What websites do you use to find great deals and save money online?

Cuidado on the baking soda on your teeth – too aggressive and it will remove enamel. I'm not toooo sure on the #1 in the shower . Some interesting tips. TY

I used the round up change jar to cover emergency laundry mat use…. kittens peed on my king sz comforter and my king sz backup comforter and my kids twin sz comforter 😢 it was almost $30 in change and it covered the needed washing… was on a very tight week for budget and was a blessing to have on hand.

I just discovered your sight, you’re a girl after my own heart. You have really used something until You’ve reused it!! There’s a coffee shop in my town that puts out used coiffed coffee grounds every day for customers(free). Put in your garden, also cockroaches don’t like them!!

Something I would like to add is there is a church near my home that offers free meals for poor people everyday. I work at a restaurant so I eat for free at work. I have thought about making own coffee at home instead of going to Starbucks

But baking soda can actually scrub off the enamel of your teeth, so I would advise against it.

Great video, I honestly do a lot of this. I ration my meals and only hit the grocery store 1x per month. I don’t allow myself to go down non-essential aisle’s. Online shopping temps so I turned off all notifications on my phone and only use it to save money or price compare on big items. I did not know you can use banana for deep conditioning your hair, thanks for that! I also before bananas go bad I freeze them as a way to preserve them as a tip, they freeze well.

Costco gasoline is always the cheapest. Sam's Club does not have this special detergent for your gasoline. You need it to make your engines last longer.

We don't have an HDTV in our home. No game consoles in our home. If you want a college-related job, you have to get rid of your HDTV and game consoles. I have only YouTube for free and Amazon Prime Video. That's all of our subscriptions. I take cold showers to save on gas utilities. If my kids forget to flush the toilet, I just pee and don't scream at them. Small issue.

If you don't buy any sodas or fries, it may be cheaper to eat out. I just got two chicken burritos at Del Taco for $5 after clipping some coupons. At Chipotle, a chicken burrito bowl with three tortillas for $14.xx is enough to feed three people.

I love your videos!! You talk about a lot of things I already do (I am 69 yrs old, so have had a lot of years to learn LOL!) but you also have new ideas for me and remind me of some I had forgotten about. I am glad also to see you putting these ideas out there for my children and grandchildren to learn from, since they don't listen to me! Ha! Ha! Thank you!!

I set a goal for 2026 that I will save one dollar a day into my savings account. I’m already saving into my 401(k), etc., but this is just a means by which I can save a little bit extra and I’m determined to stick with it.

We use foam hand soap as it seems to dispense less product. We refill our present dispenser and do not buy new ones.

This young lady does such a wonderful job & is really providing a service. 🩷
Please, though, don't use chain dollar stores unless absolutely necessary. The employees are treated terribly (much like Amazon's). John Oliver on the Late Show did a good segment on it. It's available here on YT.
Personally, I submitted a letter to them to let them know I wouldn't shop there anymore, nor bring the people in my shopping carpool. Will one letter matter? Not in the slightest. Many letters on the other hand, perhaps. Better would be laws protecting workers.

I use a 5 gal bucket to catch the cold water when I’m showering. Then I use a 1 gal bucket to flush the toilet throughout the day. I even have a laundry wand, I can use the same water to wash my unmentionables. I think I save 15 gal/day.

I just found you. You're a kindred spirit. Your life style has been mine all of my 55 years of life. It's so nice to see someone making videos that actually encourage less spending. The reusing of things reminds me of my mamaw who was born in 1906 and taught me so much. Our young folks today need this kind of information. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. Creating content, and putting yourself out there is time consuming, and allowing yourself to be exposed to the nastiness or there.

Check your toilet(s) for leakage. It can make a difference of $10 to $30 per month on the water bill. Just look at the pool of water at an angle that reflects the light. If you see ripples on the surface, there is a leak.
