The "character matters" point is underrated – most founder prep focuses entirely on the deck and the numbers. Through Rotary Bengaluru Sankalp we run a version of this filter ourselves before any startup gets in front of our investor network, and character is genuinely the hardest thing to fake past three conversations. What's the earliest tell you've learned to spot?
Most obvious advice i've ever heard.
Replace VC with vulture or grifter in this talk and the meaning is exactly the same.

What a load of tosh
i always thought in order to get investors to support your startup, you had to have some type of "business" person in your team. it seems like you just need to really prove you have a good idea and think about the scenarios investors might be concern of and have an solid response that would tranquil those concerns
I love how people with money always say dont pay yourself from funding
Why to even try? Sounds like similar to job hunting. If you getting more and more successful – why would you need investor ?
