I just love all the tips and how honest you are girl. That’s so rare 😂 Subscribed ❤
Now I feel bad for the few things that I actually got 🤣
Oh my gosh, my 9 year old's name is Ivy too.
Another quick question: If you didn't use baby bouncers to sit your baby in, what about when you went to family gatherings or something like that?
Quick question If you didn't use a baby play gym, what did you do instead ?????
It's nice to not buy. Some of these baby essential lists and hospital bag videos are out of control. 😂
Thank you sooooooooo much

The Early Americans also died at 40 so……. I wouldn't use them as the example of perfect health
I had a changing table/dresser for my first daughter, and this second time I was like “do I really need a changing table?” But I realized how much I used it! We we’ve been mainly in 1 level living spaces though so that might be a difference. I have back issues and it’s just less painful to change/get baby ready while I’m standing upright instead of hunched over on the couch or bed even if I sit down to do it I’m still hunched over so standing up is a lot more comfortable for me. But that’s the only reason 😭. It’s useful for me but not everyone. If you don’t have back issues like me, I don’t think it’s worth the money.
My uncle who was born in the 1920s had a chest drawer as his bed when he was a baby
Thanks for saving me from the nursing pillow, unnecessary changing table, the hideous as hell nursing bras… we live in a tiny but well organized house and literally have no space for those items. I wish I saw this vid before getting a bathing tub which we now keep shuffling in /out of bathtub (baby isnt here yet). Bathing baby after our shower seems like common sense- they pretty much just need a gentle rinse anyway- never would have thought of that! 🙏🩷 Great video Thanks for sharing
lol yes yes yes. Even as a first time mom I saw through the unnecessary. It’s very important to remember ourselves.
Thank you so much this was so so helpful you’re such a gem you’ve got yourself a new subscriber 💗🙏🏼
Ivy is so cuteee.
I didn't like the boppy either. I use it to lay baby down when they're like 3 months old & older lol
Absolutely love this video!! Expecting my first and while I know that a lot of things are unnecessary, this really helped me see just how MUCH!
I appreciate this video so much! We are the exact same way. Our families thought we were crazy about how neutral/ minimalist our registry/ shopping lists were. We wanted to make sure everything could be reused for our future kids and not to have a bunch of clutter or unneeded items. You would have thought the world was ending when they found out we were not buying our daughter a bouncer, saucer, or walker. 🤦🏻♀️ And they were absolutely astonished when she started walking around 10.5 months old too.
So glad I found this video before buying all of that stuff!! It's really hard to navigate as a first time mom!
Can you make a video about the lotion? Beef tallow
Did you ever use childproof locks?
I totally agree with you about the boppy! It's big, I hated trying to put it around me when nursing and it was hard to store. Sometimes I used it to prob up by not yet sitting baby, but that was it. It just got in the way most of the time. Also, we never had a baby bath either but was either in the sink or in the bath/shower with a parent. It was fine!
This was such refreshing information to hear. I love the simplicity in the way that you raise your children, this exactly the type of ethos I’d like to have for when I start having my own family as well. Thank you so much ❤
This was so helpful, thank you for sharing. I’m 5 months pregnant with our first and we got a lot of these items from friends and family already, but there were a few I was considering and now won’t even bother purchasing, this was SO SO helpful! ❤
Gained a sub from this video! Absolutely love this way of thinking, tired of overconsumption and Amazon gadgets telling us what we NEED. Also your home is decorated beautifully ❤
I am going to have my first child, and I was overwhelmed with so many things I am seeing as baby essentials but Feel so relieved after watching this video of yours… Love you girl ❤
