He's a truck driver and only makes 2,400 a month!? I made half that amount in 1 week when I was a truck driver. What the hell? He is a lazy driver, or he works for a cheap company. He should and could be making double that amount every month.

They seem way too fixated on the minimum payment rather than the interest rate. But then they want to refinance a 15 mortgage instead of 30? That makes your payments much larger. With a 30 year you can usually pay more and shorten the term if you are able without being locked into the larger 15 year payment.

Honestly they shouldnt have consolidated. The dirty way would be to let all that bullshit default and use a debt relief company to have lawyers act on their behalf and negotiate the debt down and stop them from getting sued.
