I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Brooke Miller.
I'm convinced that investing 50k-100k in the right company before it goes big is more important than saving for retirement. However, picking the right company is so hard. I have around 200k in a HYSA and want to invest it. What are the best opportunities now?
I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
Diversification is the secret to optimal performance. This is why I have my interests set on market sectors based on performance and projected growth, such as stock, EV sector, renewable energy, Tech, and Health. Keep investing regularly and you'll be blown away how much it can change in a few short years. Here's to $1 million and to FIRE
Precisely 0% of money market funds run over two decades continue to outperform. This is a bet Warren Buffett won with multiple fund managers. All of which lost. All of which lost to buying the S&P 500. A lot of things I agree with Dave on but this ain’t it. He can’t say he outperforms every year without changing the mutual fund you invested in years ago. Index funds win, all the time.
I want to begin investing but require some help. I want to spread my $125,000 across various markets for better diversification. Do you have any advice or suggestions for assistance?
I dream of buying an Outback and driving it for about 15 years. And all the scratches will be like scars from battlefield – I will love each and every one of them😅
Everyone wants to get rich quickly, and the most important and easy method is to work hard / smart to make most money ! Working 2 jobs , taking responsibility and giving quality work and doing professional work ( MD, Architect, IT, Attorney) are methods to make most money. Your money making money while you are resting is later. Once capital is there , any one can invest in real estate (roughly 10%), Mutual funds (roughly 8%). and Bank CD (4%), but it’s extremely important that one has enough capital and should have it enough early to realize the wonder of compounding.
Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing. Basically, I just made my first $300,000 in crypto market and I barely know how to express how happy and excited I am right now.
We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession– it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go out of devastation.
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

(NYSE:ARR) is a high-yield mortgage REIT paying monthly dividends. The stock has a dividend yield of about 14%, as of August 14. If the stock has increased sharply because the business is performing exceptionally well, it could still be a bargain. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas…
I'm socked of how many scam comments there are. They start off the same way, I have $$$$ how should I invest, then an other scammer responds, I have someone managing my money, then give the name of the person and praises them. Don't fall for this crap please!
It’s fairly easy…. Remember a stock is a business.
Think about the business you see in your personal life… I own shares of Hershey because they make Reese’s. I like Reese’s and I’ve worked in grocery settings, it seems like other people do too…
And then you research the stock and see it’s had an almost 30% return over the last 5 years..

4:00 "My mutual funds outperform the S&P 500 and they're reeeeally not that hard to find". Reeeeeally? It's not that hard to find people that consistently outperform the S&P? Come on now Dave. For all the logic he shares in his show, I've never understood why he chooses to die on this hill. Some say it's to get people to buy into his funds, but I just don't believe that. Confused on to why he says this all the time
Wow, it's crazy how some people can become multimillionaires by investing just $10K in Crypto within a few months, while others have to work for 40 years to reach $1M in retirement savings. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.
I'm mostly in cash and waiting for this market to re-level on the reality of our situation. Or are there any ways I can avoid a crunch and maximize my savings of $350k?
I have a question. He said investing in a growth stock mutual fund starting at age 30 till 70 you'll wind up having $5 million but what in the world is a 70 year old going to do with $5 million dollars. That $ would be for that person's kids and or grandkids not themselves. What's the fun in that?
I’m new to all this, heard it's a good time to buy and basically I've just got $200k sitting duck in the bank and I’d really love to put it to good use seeing how stocks is at an all time-high.
Go with safe investments. Dividend stocks with a long track record are my bestfriend because they will constantly pay you no matter what happens. Go dividends!
Considering 80% of mutual funds underperform the index, it's actually incredibly difficult to find the ones that are going to generate alpha. Additionally, past performance isn't a great way to your investments. Dave is a great financial coach but I'm not sure about his to manage portfolios.

Hello I wish to start investing but I don't know how to begin. Any advice or contact for help?

Sounds like Dave is saying he can beat the market.
Pass.

Geezopete. Where were you all when I was younger? I could have used this.

Are load funds monthly investments? Is there a 5.75 fee every time?

I find that hard to believe a international mutual fund outperforms a s&p 500

You cannot buy mutual funds that outperform the stock market every year. Thats impossible!
Why mutual funds over ETFs?

Please name the Mutual Funds.
